There ain't no Christmas like A Celtic Christmas!

One dreich Monday Morning, a wee bit of festive paradise came to the Mitchell Theatre in Glasgow, with Arteus360’ festive partner in crime and Celtic marketing gurus ready to put in action their biggest Christmas advert production to date!

And me a lifelong rugby player, I was ready to swap my the rugby shirt and help promote 64 Celtic festive treats from the online store in one production.  A challenge I hear you say?  Challenge accepted.

The spinning plates of our production heid honcho were something to see in action, which included getting a 10 piece children’s choir, the theatre audience, the full first team, the gaffer, backroom staff, a Lisbon Lion, 3 x cameraman, soundmen, the ever appearing fake snow, never ending fairy lights, fake trees, an handmade aeroplane,  wrapping presents, the famous treble cups…gulp! All wearing one of the 64 festive treats, in addition to belting out the Celtic Christmas Carol “ Star of Glasgow’s Green & White” to boot.

I was in charge of getting the cast ready with an Aladdin’s cave of treats, from headphones, to fluffy dinosaurs to getting the audience excited playing table football….again the iron tight schedule of shots were captured quickly throughout the day. Proving the annual hit of Celtic’s social calendar an even bigger success than years before!

Hail, Hail! Check out the behind the scenes below.

Directed by Adrian Mead, produced by Heid Honcho Sharon Fullarton, Kerry Keenan, Fiona Smith, edited by Valentine Douglas, graded by Ian Ballantyne, and sound design by John Cobban
